We stayed at Banff and Lake Louise and skied both areas. That's the way to go! Each area is fabulous and unique. Lake Louise has some of the best and most interesting runs I've ever been on. Banff is unlike any other resort you will visit, in that there is NO slopeside lodging. All lodging is located 5 to 40 minutes from the slopes depending upon which of the 3 areas you want to ski.
